Ang Zhuu Ming’s Personal Weblog
Started work on it a few days back, but just can’t let go of it yet. The “recent posts” list over at the side of the content needs to be styled somehow, but I just can’t find something suitable.

Yeah, I second that. But the “plainness” is probably a client request, right?
Moreover, from the screenshot, I thought you were pushing the bottom nav. approach, but weirdly, you still have a pseudo-sidebar for recent posts.
A suggestion would be to use a overlapping large icon for the sidebar or styling it with some elaborate black and white “boxing”.
I think it’s pretty elegant. Unlike the two guys (I think) before me, I like it. IMHO, it’s better than one of the private ones you passed to me last week.
I like the white and black, and especially the cyan and orange with the black. I’m surprised you went with this scheme since you were the one that told me it was pretty cliche.
Bleh, I didn’t say I didn’t like it. I just gave constructive criticism. 
Improved version covers most of the flaws the inital version had. But, you probably lost your intended vision for your site given the use of a sidebar in the end.
