Comment Spam Sucks Ass

Damn, now that I’ve removed CAPTCHA (the image of jumbled alphabets and numbers) from my comments system, I’ve been getting a lot of comment spam. You might ask: “What kind of comment spam?”

Well, check this out. It’s normally not work-safe or kid-safe to be sure (but in this case, I’ve killed the links).

Deleting them has been a chore as this blog would get tens of these crap a day. So… I’m thinking of switching back to WordPress. While I’m sure Blog:CMS has comment spam plugins that could save my day, I’m far too lazy to look for them.

Besides, this blog needs another redesign. It’s currently too flashy, and too “imagey”, i.e. having too many images, or rather too big an image. Functionality should increase as WordPress offers a whole host of easy-to-find and install plugins (extensions to software that add functionality).
