Firefox and Its Extensions
By now, most online residents should know about Mozilla Firefox - the real browser. In fact, I hope many of you are using Firefox, and not that piece of crap we all know as Internet Explorer. God knows how buggy and functionless IE is.
And the uberness of Firefox is exemplified by its extensions (or plugins). If there’s a feature lacking in Firefox, all it takes is a few clicks to get to a suitable extension that does what you want. Personally, I can’t live without a few key extensions.
They are as follows:
- AdBlock
With this, you can wipe out the very existence of advertising from your online journeys. Too useful for words. - SessionSaver 2
A Windows crash? Accidental shutdown? Well, SessionSaver 2 comes to the rescue. This extension automagically returns your Firefox with all the sites you were browsing intact. - Adsense Notifier
The best way to be notified of how much you are earning from Adsense every minute of the day. Gets you into your Adsense console with a single right click too. - WebDeveloper 1.0
You can’t be called a Web Developer / Designer or whatever unless you have this extension installed. From live CSS editing to XML validation, this extension does not disappoint.
So, these are the few extensions that I use without fail. If you use Firefox too, what about you?
