Ming Tien and the Super Spicy Taiwan Sausage
Yesterday was a day of pure suffering. Why? Because some evil people managed to get me to eat the spiciest Taiwan sausage (or rather, the spiciest foodstuff) ever.
Besides the ridiculously intense chili powder they apply to the sausage (yes, it’s far worse that a combination of cili padi + tobasco + mustard + wasabi), taste is non-existent. Well, maybe there was some sort of flavour, that is if you could somehow taste it underneath the thick chili coating.
And can you imagine that people actually buy this 2 ringgit crap?
P.S.: There were supposed to be pictures of the sausage (close ups even) + pictures of me leaking water from my eyes (yeah, that’s what it’s called). But my tormentors thankfully forgot the camera, and… I forgot to bring back the unfinished sausage to photograph. Maybe next time…
P.S. 2: Chua… my The Economist is still in your front seat…
