My Favourite Online Comics
I’ve read tons of comics - from US full-colour RM20 comics to RM39.99 Japanese manga. But sometimes, free online stuff just beats them all, and that’s not just because they’re free too. In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, I’ll list two of the webcomics (technically, they’re available offline as well) that I have been devoutly following for quite some time:
- MegaTokyo
MegaTokyo (MT) is one of the very best online comics you’ll find. As of today, MT stands at a grand total of 816 pages, with a new comic weekly (depends on the artist really). In fact, MT is so great that it even has its own wiki over at Wikipedia. So, what’s MegaTokyo all about? Well, a short description would probably be as follows:
Two hardcore American gamers get stuck in Tokyo with no money, where they have to deal with ninjas, giant lizards, androids, the undead, schoolgirls and …
But trust me when I say that MT is far beyond what a two-liner can hope to describe. Read it now!
- Dilbert
I’m sure you’ve seen at least one Dilbert comic before. In fact, I can’t believe that anybody doesn’t follow Dilbert. You won’t find any comic more adept at bringing humor and satire to the working world. Dilbert, Dogbert and Catbert (plus the other characters) will bring light even to the worst of days. Besides, a new Dilbert comes every day. I say it’s a great way to start your day.
So, get your mice clicking on those hyperlinks. If not, well…
