Returned From Singapore

Budget hotels in Singapore are far better than the ones in Malaysia. Well, based on what I know of course. SG$60 per night got me a queen-sized bed, the standard TV, a clean, though not particularly spacious room, and free breakfast. And the hotel was like 5 minutes by bus to EDB’s Learning Centre (the interview venue).

The interview itself went pretty okay. The standard questions, the standard answers, but what would you expect from a 30-minute first round interview anyway? But urghh, I can’t imagine I spent like RM250 to travel to and stay at Singapore just to attend it. I actually kind of hope I don’t get through to the second round since more money would have to be forked out just to get to Singapore again.

Thank god I’m not an East Malaysian though. Having to fly over for half an hour of bean-spilling would suck.
