Say Welcome to Asides

With my shift to Wordpress (finally…), I’m now able to easily implement asides on this blog. For those that have no idea what the hell are asides, you can see an example right above this post.

Basically, it’s just a shortened form of blog post, which does not have a title or anything else, except for content (and only a little of that too). It’s basically used to link to and give short comments on things, whether recent happenings or news articles.

To implement asides on ZMAngBlog, I used the information provided in the Wordpress Codex, which was more than complete enough to handle most of the back-end stuff. Problem-wise, I’ve had only one. Yes, Internet Explorer. My list-style-image (normally a bullet), isn’t appearing for IE 6 and below due to my float:left on the containing div.

Do I care? Normally, yes. But in this case, bleh. It still looks pretty good in IE without my customised bullet image. I think…
