Some Cool Web 2.0 Stuff

I’ve been playing around with two really cool (cool enough to win the recent Web 2.0 Awards) web applications. They’ve streamlined my workflow, and therefore, saved me quite a bit of time. But if you add in the time I’ve spent playing with them, …

  1. Pageflakes
A starting page for your browser. You know, the first page you see when you start your browser. The cool part about Pageflakes is that you can customize everything about it. Move widgets around. Add widgets containing web pages, RSS feeds, calculators, Flickr photos, email, etc.
  2. meebo.com
A web alternative to your Instant Messenger software. If you happen to be off your PC and need to login to MSN, AOL, GTalk, ICQ, or all of them at once, meebo.com is for you. It’s easily as responsive as the standard software-based clients.
